From basic concepts through to detailed budgets, vendor integration, designs and ultimately the execution of a lighting design for an event, UVLD provides both artistic flare and business sense. We are available to assist with pitches, initial budgets and point-of-contact integration with end clients. As a firm concentrated solely on design, Unlimited Visibility is in a unique position to bring the talents of multiple designers to a single project. This can include having multiple designers available for different parts of a large-scale project, as well as complete and integrated staffing onsite. UVLD’s designers are also programmers. For a significant proportion of shows, and where logistics allow, Unlimited Visibility’s designers do all their own programming. This leads to not only a better understanding of the technologies involved, and a more direct interface with artistic and technological elements, but also provides better financial value to the client. UVLD believes in having as much as possible of the budget seen on-stage rather than being spent on what’s going on behind-the-scenes. Using the very latest in technology to produce pre-production visuals, UVLD can, in partnership with a client, design and present the lighting of an event without actually staging the event. Computer modeling and pre-visualization renderings are part of an UVLD designer’s tool box, and something that comes as second nature to one of the busiest and most highly-regarded lighting design partnerships in North America. |
