September 8, 2008Lighting Designer Andy Henry Joins UVLD's Team
Unlimited Visibility Lighting Design (UVLD) is
pleased to announce that industry veteran Andy Henry has joined the team as a
design partner. Henry comes on
board from Corporate Lighting Services where he designed lighting for a number
of major firms in the pharmaceutical, financial/insurance, automotive and
high-tech sectors.
“It’s a
thrill to have a friend like Andy onboard our team,” says UVLD founding partner
John Ingram. “We’ve been friendly
competitors for so long, and we all have a world of respect for Andy and the
work that he does. While we often work in the same circles, joining together
will allow us to serve our clients even better, while drawing from a larger
pool of talented partners.”
For his part, Henry says, “I’m delighted to become part
of the UVLD team. I’ve known them
all for over 20 years and consider UVLD to be on the cutting edge of corporate
lighting design. Their diverse
design experience and commitment to excellence is unparalleled in the industry,
and I’m ecstatic to be part of their future.”
He formed Corporate Lighting Services in (1995) where
he specialized in lighting design for corporate leaders AstraZeneca, Bayer, Eli
Lilly, Glaxo Wellcome, Novartis, Ortho-McNeil, Pfizer, Searle, Wyeth, Bank of
America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, New York Life, Prudential,
UBS, Acura, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Jaguar, Lexus, Porsche, Volvo, FedEx, Sony,
Panasonic, Staples, Home Depot, IBM, Apple, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, HP, Xerox,
Talbot’s and Lancome. Henry began his career in theater, dance and opera. He
majored in lighting design at the State University of New York (SUNY), Purchase

business,” says lighting designer Gregory Cohen. “He fits in perfectly with the team here at UVLD and his
experience working with a lot of traditional corporate clients complements our
own work and expands our repertoire.

Henry resides in Connecticut with his wife and three
children. In his spare time he
enjoys spending time with his family at Fire Island, surf fishing, farming,
hiking, coaching baseball and cheering on the New York Yankees.
